What's included in this kit:
ESP microcontroller (aka “the brain”) and header pins
Circuit board
2x 2 Prong Screw Terminal Blocks
3 Prong Screw Terminal Block
1000uf Capacitor
LED strip with plenty of glow power (total of 30 LEDs)
Wires cut to 12in length (because no one likes to buy 100ft when you just need 1)
5 pairs of M4x12 bolts and T nuts
 
What’s not included in this kit but needed for the smart lamp build:
20in of the 2020 extruded aluminum frame. You can find pieces here: https://amzn.to/46t07LY 
The 3D Printed Parts. You can download them here but you need to find a friend with printer or you can check out your local library or print service.
Power supply. I'm willing to bet you have a spare laying around. If not, there's plenty of options to get one. 
Assembly. Yep, you’ll still need to fire up the soldering iron but don’t panic, I’ve got a step-by-step soldering video to walk you through it. Think of it like adult LEGOs, except the pieces get really hot if you touch them wrong.
